Grain Alcohol, Purified Water, a proprietary blend of Bai Zhu (Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae), Fang Feng (Radix Ledebouriellae Divaricatae) and decocted Huang Qi (Purified Water and Huang Qi (Radix Astragali Membranacei))

This classic formula is used to strengthen wei (protective) qi. Yu Ping Feng Jiu treats deficiency of the exterior with weak and unstable protective Qi, which leaves the body open and vulnerable to recurrent external pathogenic invasions.*

Huang Qi does not dissolve into alcohol, generally making it a poor herb for tincturing; however, Ancient Wisdom Healing Arts’ unique process involves decocting the Huang Qi separately, and then combining it with the other tinctured ingredients.
